What You'll Learn
This is a hands-on session. You'll follow along on your own laptop and walk away with practical AI skills you can use the same day.
Context is Everything
Why the same AI tool gives wildly different results depending on setup. You'll create a context file that shapes every response.
The Research Loop
Use multiple AI tools together: one to find data with sources, another to synthesize and validate. The professional workflow.
From Research to Output
Turn a research document into a polished webpage in minutes. Same content, new format. Format conversion as a daily tool.
At a Glance
What you walk away with from this 90-minute session.
-
•
The reframe: Most people treat AI like a fancier Google. It's not, and getting past that is where everything else starts.
-
•
Managing context: Most disappointing AI output isn't a prompt problem, it's a context problem. We'll cover what the AI actually needs to know, and the two other levers that go with it.
-
•
A real workspace: How to set up the AI so it keeps track of your project, instead of every chat starting from zero.
-
•
Six levels: There's basically a six-step ladder for how people work with AI. Most folks stop at 2 or 3 without realizing there's anything above.
-
•
Real cases: Three walkthroughs: ERP pricing, a storage strategy call, and handling secrets.
-
•
Right vs. convincing: How to tell whether the answer's actually right, or just sounds right. Trickier than you'd think.
-
•
Guardrails: What not to put in prompts, what to back up before AI touches it, and the cheapest insurance going: running the same job on two different tools.
-
•
Daily habits: The handful of habits that actually made the difference for me, after half a year of using these tools every day.
